Founded on November 1st, 2013, Oakstone is an independent asset manager specialising in equity and currency investments.
Pursuant to the Federal Act of 10 October 1997 on the combating of money laundering and the prevention of the financing of terrorism in the financial sector (AMLA) Oakstone is under supervision by the Financial Services Standards Association (VQF), a Self-Regulatory Organisation (SRO) officially recognised by the Federal Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).
Oakstone is also a member of VQF in its role as Industry Organisation for independent Asset Managers and is therefore bound to the officially recognized “rules of professional conduct for the practice of asset management”.
Beat (1969) has a broad and in-depth knowledge of banking and investing, with more than 23 years of experience. Prior to founding Oakstone, he worked in various positions for UBS, including in the capital markets area of the investment bank, in the credit portfolio management unit (credit risk modelling, front-end steering and back-end optimisation through hedging and securitization) of the Swiss division and in the product area of wealth mangement (investment advisory, UHWN advisory). Beat is a graduate from the University of Applied Sciences in Economic and Business Administration Zurich.
Benoît (1970) is a founder and member of the Board of Directors of Oakstone. He supports Oakstone with his experience as entrepreneur and his extensive network. He started his professional career at UBS in the domestic Private and Corporte Clients divison. After moving into the real-estate sector, together with a business partner, he successfully founded and built-up a real-estate brokerage and services company. On January 1st, 2011 he founded his second real-estate brokerage and services company, Fluck AG, with headquarters in Küsnacht. Benoît is a graduate from the University of Applied Sciences in Economic and Business Administration Zurich, a Real Estate Fiduciary with a federal diploma and is a member of the Swiss Real Estate Association SVIT.
